ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE:
Such a great memory performing Redeemer in Ljubljana, Slovenia where a majority of my wife's family lives, which is part of former Yugoslavia. After the 2nd World War, my mother in law was forced to leave Tito's Yugoslavia because her father, unlike some of her uncles, wanted a democracy and was a freedom fighter. President Tito began weeding out those who opposed his communist rule. Because of the gift of music you've been supporting all these years, Slovenia invited me to help where we could encouraging medical support for families affected by heart disease.

So imagine taking my mother in law back decades after her motherland had become a free, democratic Slovenia. I took her to meet the Catholic Arch Bishop, which was a huge honor, along with several government officials who were given the VIP balcony seats. I share this because this imperfect performance that evening reminded all who attended that the sound of freedom comes after years of sacrifice and hope that God would redeem the nation and the people.
