Famous for their appearance in the Patrick Swayze-starred actioner, 1989's "Road House", the Jeff Healey Band scored their first and only Top 40 hit a year prior with "Angel Eyes". And although had 12 Top 40 hits in their native Canada, they only had one other song make the US charts, 1993's "Lost In Your Eyes", which only made it to #91 on the Billboard Hot 100 but made it to #5 in Canada.
"Angel Eyes" reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 (#5), Cash Box Top 100 (#6), and Billboard Adult Contemporary (#7) charts, and made it to #24 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. The song also reached #16 in Canada, #86 in the UK, and #115 in Australia).
