Gojira is definitely one of my favorite metal bands. They have this unique sound that I can't quite figure out how to describe. The best way I could put it is that they just have this overwhelming crushingly relentless heavy groove to their music. Mario Duplantier is a sick drummer and I love the little solo section here. The displacement at the end is such a fun technique to pull off to change around the entire feel.
