In 1978, "Werewolves of London" was released by Warren Zevon. 7 Years later, Dexys Midnight Runners released “One Of Those Things” which many thought sounded like the Warren Zevon track. In 1997, when Dexys re-issued the song’s album "Don't Stand Me Down," frontman Kevin Rowland confessed in the liner notes to stealing the riff, and now gives co-writer credit to Zevon.
