Continuing the theme of Classic Melodies comes my rendition of Brahm's Lullaby aka Cradle song or its original title of Wiegenlied. As a parent and Grandparent it is difficult to find a go to sleep toy that doesn't include this melody. Amazingly it seems to work at Bedtime because of its very soothing melody (Not sure my rendition will be as effective but I just fancied giving it a bash). Brahm's although born in the Romantic era of Music was viewed as a throwback to the Classical period and is often classed as a Neo-Classical.
Along with Franz Listz he unwittingly gave his name to a cockney slang term for a rather unpolitely term for being drunk.
